- Rescheduling requests must be made in writing as soon as possible.
- Lorryn Smit Photography will do its best to accommodate new dates, but no guarantees are made for specific timeframes.
- Additional travel or administrative costs may apply depending on the new date.
- Failure to reschedule within the two-year period will result in the forfeiture of the retainer and any additional payments made.
Pre-wedding and wedding photography cancellation policies vary and are outlined in the respective contracts.
Retainers are never refundable under any circumstances, as they cover administrative time and loss of potential bookings.
Clients are advised to carefully review the cancellation policy in their contract before booking.
A non-refundable retainer is required to secure all bookings, including pre-wedding and wedding photography. The retainer guarantees the session date and is a commitment to proceed with Lorryn Smit Photography’s services. No date is considered booked without the payment of the retainer.
The remaining balance is due as per the timeline outlined in the client’s contract.
Failure to pay the remaining balance on time may result in the cancellation of the session, with no refund of the retainer.

No RAW files will be provided under any circumstances. The final edited images are a reflection of the artistic vision and style of Lorryn Smit Photography, which clients must agree to.
Clients are encouraged to communicate their desired shots and preferences clearly in advance of the session, but it is understood that the final artistic decisions remain with Lorryn Smit Photography.
The photography style of Lorryn Smit Photography is final, and clients agree to trust the creative direction and aesthetic approach.
Any creative decisions, including but not limited to, the use of lighting, composition, and editing, are at the discretion of Lorryn Smit Photography.
No additional editing, re-editing, or changes will be made beyond the final delivered images unless specified in the contract.
All images produced during the photography session are protected by copyright law and remain the intellectual property of Lorryn Smit Photography unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Clients are granted a non-commercial, personal-use license to the images. Any commercial use, reproduction, or distribution requires written permission from Lorryn Smit Photography.
