I love your feet because they have wandered over the earth and through the wind and water until they brought you to me.

When Seoyoon contacted me for her pre-wedding photos she knew exactly what she wanted: greenery, romance and beautiful lighting. I’m always thrilled when brides know what they want because then I can design a specific plan to deliver beautiful images just as they imagined. Only this time I was very concerned. It was in the peak of summer with very unpredictable showers and so I recommended that we change her plan a little bit to suit an indoor session. She said “Don’t worry. It will be perfect weather. I know it.” And so our plans for outdoor photos went forth.

Saturday afternoon there was a sudden massive cloud burst. Immediately I called her and she remained so calm and she was the one reassuring me! Surely, mother nature was looking after this couple that day because at 4pm (one hour before we started shooting) the clouds opened, the temperature dropped and we were given beautiful light to work with!

We started at one of my favorite places in the city with some traditional hanbok photographs.

After a quick wardrobe change and some much needed water we headed to one of the universities nearby for their last set of photos.
