Love is a force more formidable than any other. It is invisible – it cannot be seen or measured, yet it is powerful enough to transform you in a moment, and offer you more joy than any material possession could.
On a crisp autumn morning I embarked on my journey to Jacob and April’s beautiful wedding. The wedding was held at Island CC Resort near to Ansan. On arrival at the resort I was so excited because not only was it a beautiful day, but the resort had really pretty architecture and was surrounded by mountains. It was the perfect setting!
I met up with them in the waiting area of their hotel suite where we got to know each other better and in true Korean culture April’s first words were: “Have you had any breakfast?” as she was about to arrange something for me to eat. Luckily there was no need and she could relax after the long hair and makeup session.
We headed out to the balcony to take a few photos and waited for Jacob’s family to arrive before we headed to the church.
Then it was time to move!
The resort’s chapel had wonderfully large glass walls with a little pond out in front too. Certainly a grand place to get married!
After families and friends were re-united with, it was time to get the ceremony under way:
It was now time to celebrate with a divine luncheon in the resort’s conference facilities. April’s father made a beautiful toast to their marriage and friends and family had a wonderful time catching up with one another!
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for you kindness and sharing your special day with with me Jacob and April! Your family’s warmth and hospitality made my job of documenting your day so easy and enjoyable! Congratulations again!
