Danny and Camille had been together for over 11 years. Through a series of fortuitous encounters and shared acquaintances, they had found each other and clicked instantly. Right from the start, they discovered a shared love for exploration and adventure, a passion for travel that bound them together. Even in the early stages of their relationship, they had embarked on remarkable journeys, like their unforgettable New Year’s Eve celebration in Times Square, witnessing the ball drop amidst the vibrant energy of New York City.
Their wanderlust had taken them far beyond the borders of their homeland, leading them to traverse the vast landscapes of the United States and visit countless countries together. One particular expedition held a special place in their hearts—back in 2020, they embarked on a trip to Glacier National Park in Montana, accompanied by their closest friends. It was a place of breathtaking beauty, where they were enchanted by the tranquil serenity, the untamed wildlife, and the picturesque vistas.
During their stay at Lake McDonald, a magical moment unfolded amidst the idyllic scenery. Each couple took turns capturing their memories on the pier, posing for photographs to commemorate the occasion. Engrossed in their own little photo session, Camille suddenly spun around for a candid shot, only to be met with an astonishing sight—Danny, down on one knee, holding a ring, and asking the most important question of their lives. It was a surreal and utterly unexpected gesture, as Camille had been oblivious to all the subtle signs leading up to that fateful moment. Overwhelmed with emotion, without a moment’s hesitation, she joyfully accepted the proposal, embracing the future they would forge together.
Now, they eagerly planned for their upcoming wedding, determined to exchange their vows and embark on a new chapter in their lives. By the end of the year, they would become husband and wife, their love story forever etched in the annals of their shared adventures.
WHY KOREA AS A PRE-WEDDING DESTINATION?
We decided to have our pre-wedding outdoor photoshoot in Korea because it offered the perfect combination of a memorable trip with our friends and a stunning backdrop for capturing our love story. As passionate travelers, we were drawn to Korea’s captivating culture, beautiful landscapes, and warm-hearted people. It was our second time in Korea but our first visit to Jeju, which made the experience even more exciting. We were incredibly fortunate to find an amazing photographer, Lorryn, whose talent and artistic vision made our photoshoot truly exceptional. Choosing Korea as our pre-wedding destination allowed us to cherish our love for travel while creating unforgettable memories in a country we deeply admire.
THE VIBE
We were going for a “dreamy kdrama-like romance” vibe for our pre-wedding outdoor photoshoot, inspired by our love for Korean dramas. Choosing Jeju as our location was a perfect decision as it provided a wide range of breathtaking spots, including canola fields, tea fields, beaches, waterfalls, and more. Each location allowed us to experience a unique atmosphere and and we’re thrilled to have these cherished memories preserved in the photographs.

One of our favorite things about the day was getting to try out different Korean cafes. Each cafe had its unique charm and provided a cozy ambiance. We sampled different coffees, teas, and definitely the snacks.
WE’RE GLAD WE…
Looking back, we are really glad that we opted to do our pre-wedding photoshoot in Jeju with Lorryn. Initially, we felt a bit awkward and unsure of how to pose or act in front of the camera. However, not only did Lorryn make us feel at ease and comfortable, but she also went above and beyond by guiding us to multiple stunning locations throughout Jeju. Her expertise allowed us to explore the beauty of the island while creating lasting memories. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to have Lorryn as our photographer.

LITTLE LOL
A funny memory we remembered was during the time we were shooting on the beach. We had ventured out onto a sandbar for some photos, and after we were done, we looked back and the water level had risen leaving us stranded with no clear path back to the shore. With our outfits and shoes in hand, we had no choice but to walk back slowly through the cold water. We couldn’t help but laugh at the unexpected turn of events.
