A luxury wedding might bring to mind designer gowns, breathtaking venues, or exquisite details. But for me, true luxury is something deeper. It’s the gift of time, of presence, and of a day that feels wholly yours.
It’s about a day that unfolds at your pace, that honors your love story, and that leaves you feeling fully seen, calm, and celebrated—without you having to worry about the little things or do all the heavy lifting. Your wedding photography is a central part of this experience, and with a Korean perspective rooted in care and cultural understanding, I aim to capture every moment with intention and grace. Here’s how I help you craft a wedding experience that truly feels luxurious.
Planning Your Luxury Wedding in Korea With a Local by Your Side
How you feel on your wedding day begins long before the actual day arrives—it starts with feeling cared for and supported from the moment you start planning.
Access to Local Wedding Photography Knowledge
Planning a wedding in Korea can feel overwhelming—especially when so much of the local information lives not on Google, but on Naver, the country’s main search engine.
If you’re getting married in Korea from abroad, it’s natural to feel unsure about where to start—whether it’s finding the perfect venue, uncovering hidden photography gems, or navigating cultural traditions.
That’s where I come in. Having lived in Korea for years and fluent in both English and Korean, I’ve gained a deep understanding of the Korean culture, customs, and latest trends. I keep a carefully curated list of my favorite spots—some iconic, some tucked away—and guide you to them, so your planning feels effortless, joyful, and stress-free. I thoughtfully lay out everything you’ll need for your wedding in Korea, leaving you free to focus on what truly matters: celebrating your love.

Thoughtful Guidance for a Seamless Celebration
Your wedding in Korea should feel like a celebration you can fully savor—exciting, joyful, and stress-free. I guide you through every detail with care, from thorough location guides and thoughtful advice on pre-wedding and wedding destinations, to documenting your day in a way that reflects your story—whether you dream of a hanok ceremony steeped in tradition or a modern, elegant celebration. Along the way, I share practical insights, from crafting the perfect photo moments to shaping a day-of timeline that lets everything unfold naturally, so your planning feels effortless and your day feels truly magical. However, a luxury wedding isn’t just about ease—it’s also about depth and, in Korea, we have a culture that is rich with meaning.
Infusing Korean Traditions Into Your Luxury Wedding
I love helping couples discover the beauty of Korean traditions and weaving them into their story. Incorporating a Korean wedding ritual, like a tea ceremony, not only creates an experience for that moment, but it also lends your wedding depth and meaning that lingers long after the day is over. These moments connect you to the rich culture in which your love is being celebrated, creating quiet, intimate memories you’ll carry with you forever. As your photographer, I strive to capture these experiences with intention and grace, letting their beauty shine naturally, without ever feeling intrusive.
Korean weddings can sometimes move quickly—but with me, you’re gifted the luxury of time. Space to slow down, breathe deeply, and savor each fleeting moment as it unfolds. If your wedding day begins to feel full, I often suggest extending your celebration across multiple days—perhaps a traditional ceremony on one day, and a western-style reception the next. This gentle rhythm lets you honor local customs, immerse yourself in your love, and have your wedding photography reflect every exquisite detail with the thoughtful grace of your Korean experience. With that foundation, here’s what working together actually looks and feels like.

What to Expect From a Luxury Wedding Photography Experience in Korea
Wedding photography in Korean culture can sometimes feel hurried and caught in a predictable rhythm—but I take a different path, rooted in intention, empathy, and deep connection, I strive to capture your day in a way that feels intimate, heartfelt, and luxuriously unhurried, preserving the moments that make your story uniquely yours.
How I Give You a Luxurious Wedding Photography Experience
In Korea, it’s common for photographers to capture multiple weddings in a single day. I take a different approach—I focus on just one wedding per day, so I can be fully present with you.
By keeping my calendar intentionally small, I have the time to really get to know you, your story, and the vision you have for your day.
Even before you book, I offer a free consultation—a chance to connect, chat about your plans, and see if we feel like a good fit.
After booking, I send a detailed questionnaire that covers everything from family dynamics to how affectionate you are in public, and the little details that help me make sure you feel truly seen, comfortable, and cared for.
On your wedding day, instead of following a standard list of poses, I prefer something more personal. Together, we’ll plan the photos you really want—from classic groupings to special moments with grandparents, best friends, or any ideas that are uniquely yours. My goal is to capture your wedding in its fullness, with care and intention, so your photos feel like a true reflection of your love story.
Approaching Your Day With Care and Precision
I always bring two cameras to every wedding, so I can capture your day from multiple perspectives. I work with a variety of lenses that allow me to quietly document the soft, in-between moments—the stolen glances, the gentle touches—that make your day uniquely yours, all without ever intruding or disrupting the moment.
My approach is unobtrusive and thoughtful, which is also why I use flash sparingly.
That said, if you’d like flash included, I’ll use it with care to enhance the beauty of your day. During lively western-style receptions with dancing and celebration, I’ll also use flash to capture the joy, energy, and excitement in a way that feels vivid and alive.
Ultimately, my goal is to create imagery that feels cinematic, timeless, and luxurious—photos that reflect the intimacy of your connection, the elegance of your celebration, and the beauty of every carefully curated moment. Because these images become part of your legacy, every choice—lens, light, timing—is made with intention.

How I Protect and Preserve Your Memories
After your wedding, I take every step to ensure your photos are safe, secure, and beautifully preserved. From the moment I finish shooting, I carefully store your SD cards and I never erase them until I deliver your gallery. I keep multiple backups of your images—on my hard drive and in the cloud—so your memories are carefully preserved and protected. I even replace my SD cards every three to four months, minimizing any risk of loss, so you can have complete peace of mind.
For me, keeping your photos safe isn’t just about security—it’s about honoring the moments you’ve trusted me to hold. It’s quiet luxury you can feel—the peace of knowing your memories are safe, cared for, and ready to relive.
Tailoring the Wedding Photography Experience Specifically to You
When it comes to working with you, I like to strike a balance between gentle guidance and letting the moments unfold naturally. When I help craft your timeline, my goal is always to make space for both intimate, heartfelt moments and more curated, luxurious experiences.
I typically capture portraits before the ceremony, so we can highlight all the details and styling you’ve chosen for your day. During these portraits, I’ll offer subtle direction—sometimes a story, sometimes a pose—so that your beauty, love, and the elegance of your wedding are fully reflected. I also guide group photos when needed, but for most of the day, I fade into the background, quietly observing and capturing moments as they naturally happen.
With years of experience in both the wedding photography industry and Korean culture, I have a sense of which moments to watch for—the happy tears, the tender glances, the fleeting expressions that might otherwise go unnoticed. The result is imagery that feels like you—elegant, unforced, and deeply personal.
